Report: Simon Cowell Leaves Britain’s ‘X Factor’
According to The Daily Mail, the British entertainment exec has reportedly quit the British version of The X Factor. Right now, he wants to focus solely on the U.S. installment that’s kicking off this September and doesn’t want to over extend himself while doing so. So yeah, both he and Cheryl Cole (her U.S. contract may be in the works as we speak, what?) won’t be sitting next to Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh when season eight finally rolls around.
So let the guessing game begin. Settling into the sharp-tongued critic’s well-worn chair will be no easy task. Boy George previously stated that he’d love to appear on the reality talent show. Take That‘s Gary Barlow was also thought to be a contender, but he dismissed the notion late last month. And Lily Allen, well she and Piers Morgan recently had a war of words over her supposed inclusion.
Who do you think should step in for Simon Cowell on the UK X Factor?
