Lifetime’s William & Kate movie has been garnering scathing notices — The San Francisco Chronicle says it “descends into groan-worthy melodrama.” But if you can’t wait to see the real Wills and Kate get hitched on April 29, you can get your royal fill with this scintillating cheese plate of a telefilm, served promptly at 9 pm.

(Several hundred lucky Whovians have already experienced it; now it’s the rest of America’s turn.) The episode, titled “The Impossible Astronaut,” features the long-running series’ first-ever scenes shot here in the U.S.
