Dolly Parton

Hey, William and Kate! If you’re still going over the long list of entertainers looking to serenade you on your big day, you better add Dolly Parton.

The Metro reports that when visiting the UK morning chat show, Daybreak, on Wednesday (April 13), the 65-year-old country music diva revealed that she’d love to perform for the couple. Parton stated that she’d even sing her chart-topping standout “I Will Always Love You.”

“Wouldn’t that be great?” Parton said. “No one has asked me about that, but I might offer that up.”

She added: “… Elton John could play for me and I could sing the song, or he could sing a duet with me. I am sure he has been invited; I haven’t been invited to the wedding… I think it is wonderful, very romantic.”

Can you imagine? Dolly and Elton? That would definitely be something. And Elton already announced last month that he and partner David Furnish were indeed invited to the upcoming royal shindig… perhaps he can pull some strings for dear Dolly?
