Keira Knightley to Make U.S. TV Debut in Syfy Mini-series

Keira Knightley

And they said the mini-series was dead in America. Not for Syfy. The network is doing Neverland, a four-hour live-action prequel to Peter Pan, with a cast that includes Brit stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Friel, Bob Hoskins, Charles Dance, and 14-year-old Charlie Rowe. And Deadline today (March 10) revealed that Keira Knightley will join the ensemble, making “her U.S. television debut.”

Don’t tune in expecting to see the face of Chanel gracing the screen. She’s lending her voice to the character of Tinker Bell. In the story, Peter Pan and his band of pickpockets are transported to magical Neverland where they meet tree spirits led by Tinker Bell as well as some treacherous adversaries. Neverland is set to premiere on Syfy this December.
