We’ve been waiting for this, haven’t we? Radiohead took to their official site earlier today (February 14) to share details about their long-awaited eighth studio album, The King of Limbs.

In what the band describes “as the world’s first Newspaper Album,” The King of Limbs will be available as a download on Saturday (February 19) for all patrons who take advantage of the pre-order at the The King of Limbs site. Both CD and vinyl formats will follow on May 9. As for a tracklisting, I guess we’ll have to wait for the weekend to find out.

NME reports that the title pertains “to an oak tree in Wiltshire’s Savernake Forest, thought to be around 1,000 years old.”
