Helena Bonham Carter Teases the Oscars On ‘The Tonight Show’
The wonderful Helena Bonham Carter paid a visit to The Tonight Show on Tuesday (February 1) to gab about The King’s Speech, of course, and her Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She joked with Jay Leno that he only has her on his show whenever she’s up for an Oscar. And although she has yet to win one of those shiny statuettes, the British actress believes that “people like you better when you don’t win.”
Ms. Helena’s endearing kind of quirkiness was in full effect and even more so when Leno addressed her eclectic sense of style. When referring to her unusual choice of shoes at the Golden Globes last month, Bonham Carter blamed it on being a Gemini. Gosh, we love her!
