WATCH: Simm, Glenister, Warren, Beesley in Sexy ‘Mad Dogs’ Trailer
John Simm in 'Mad Dogs'
To whomever decided to put John Simm (Life On Mars, Doctor Who), Philip Glenister (Life On Mars, Demons), Marc Warren (Hustle), and Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon, Survivors) in a show together, God bless you. The four Anglophile faves star in the new series Mad Dogs, which premieres on the UK broadcaster Sky in February.
According to the official show website, Mad Dogs essentially sounds like a British Men of a Certain Age remade as a jaunty, darkly comedic action drama: four lifelong friends meet up at another buddy’s (Ben Chaplin) Majorcan villa but soon “find themselves entangled in a web of deception and murder involving beautiful police women, large yachts, Speedos and a rather short assassin in a Tony Blair mask…”
Sky has released a couple of trailers that make no apologies about serving up the four leads up as taut, tanned sex objects in Speedos. You have famed photographer/video director David LaChapelle (who else?) to thank for this highly stylized first teaser. Simm in particular has never looked better, frankly:
There’s a second, less flesh-filled LaChapelle clip you can watch over at the Sky website. In addition, here’s the full trailer:
