Kate Middleton Wanted for Olympic Cartoon?
The Daily Telegraph reports that England’s future princess Kate Middleton has been asked to lend her voice to an animated short film scheduled to premiere during the 2012 London Summer Games’ cultural Olympiad.
The Tate Movie Project will showcase the artwork of 16,000 UK students between the ages of 5 and 13. According to their official site, “every aspect of the film, from the hand-drawn characters and plot twists, costumes and comic sound effects” will be completely in the hands of these kids. How cool is that?
Several other celebrity names have been mentioned as possible participants in the upcoming 27-minute cartoon, including American teen queen Miley Cyrus and X Factor judge Dannii Minogue. But perhaps this little opportunity could provide a quick and nice distraction for Middleton, who has all the world’s eyes on her as she plans her April 29 wedding to Prince William.
I think it’d be fantastic if Middleton got involved. She’d surely add a bit of elegance to the royal family’s appearance during the London Games. What do you think?
