‘Fame: The Royals’ Comic Book Pays Tribute to William and Kate

When it comes to royal weddings, there’s plenty of memorabilia to honor the occasion. And with Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s spring nuptials, you can already get your hands on several collector’s items such as the UK Royal Mint’s commemorative coin, a china setting and tea towels. Now, Bluewater Productions is getting in on the action with their “Fame: The Royals” biography comic book.

“As Americans, we are fascinated by the British royals,” said Bluewater President Darren Davis. “They fit within our construct of a celebrity-fueled popular culture. But more than, that they represent an air of pomp and history that we just don’t have. In terms of relevance to our series, William and Kate are the embodiment of fame and people (on both sides of the Atlantic) can’t get enough of them.”

The 32-page book, which is slated for an April release, will explore Wills and Kate’s rich love story while also highlighting other headline-worthy moments in the future King of England’s public life. A special collector’s edition featuring “pinup posters, special illustrations of the April 29th wedding as well as a comparison with Diana and Charles’ 1981 wedding” will follow in May.
