Colin Firth Wants to Get Evil for ‘Doctor Who’?
Colin Firth
Over the weekend, Twitter was absolutely wild over news that Colin Firth wishes for a bad guy part on Doctor Who. According to The Sun, The King’s Speech star, who just grabbed a Best Actor Golden Globe for his fantastic portrayal of King George VI, would never “rule” it out should he get the chance to appear on the show.
“I’d never rule out a part in Doctor Who or Torchwood – especially Doctor Who,” Firth said via a Twitter interview. “I’d also love to play a villain like Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes.”
Hey Steven Moffat, we hope you’re listening! And, you too Russell T. Davies!
When discussing his nastier ways, Firth gushed over playing the sinister Lord Henry Wotton in the 2009 supernatural horror Dorian Gray, which he thoroughly enjoyed. “He was quite mean and I’m much nastier than people think,” Firth said of the part.
