Look out, Whovians. The Doctor Who family could be expanding sometime this spring. The Daily Mail reports that David Tennant and his new fiancée, Georgia Moffett, are apparently expecting their first child.
The pair — who got engaged at the start of the New Year — were spotted out and about in West London recently, and Moffett looked to be hiding a bit of a baby bump. According to the Mail, the actress is “at least five months” along.
“They are a couple who like to keep themselves to themselves,” said a source. “Friends and family are delighted though.”
The 39-year-old former Time Lord and his 26-year-old bride-to-be first met on the Doctor Who set just over three years ago, when the two appeared together in an episode entitled “The Doctor’s Daughter”. Moffett’s dad, Peter Davison, portrayed the fifth Doctor between 1981 and 1984.
Tennant and his lady love, who has a eight-year-old son named Tyler from a previous relationship, are slated to marry New Year’s Day 2012. Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!
