She’s Got Balls: Susan Boyle Hopes to Work with AC/DC?
Susan Boyle
For those about to rock, Susan Boyle wants to join you! Digital Spy reports the Scottish songbird would gladly give an AC/DC song a try. She’s covered a handful of other artists’ tunes already, including the Rolling Stones‘ “Wild Horses”, so why not?
Boyle, whose Grammy-nominated sophomore LP, The Gift, remains at the top of the Billboard 200, recently chatted with talk-show host Shane Warne in the UK. In a taped interview for his Australian-based show, Warnie, the famed cricket player inquired if she’d ever cover a song by the country’s most celebrated band, AC/DC.
“You want? You got, let’s move,” she playfully agreed. “No problem, come on lads, I’m ready when you are.” And yes, it’s that Shane Warne who’s currently making tabloid headlines for allegedly having an affair with English actress/model Elizabeth Hurley.
Anyhow, Boyle’s intentions seem pure.”I’m headbanging as well,” she joked.
I say bring it on, SuBo! How about a little “Hells Bells”? “High Voltage”? Or better yet, “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Want to Rock and Roll)”? Yesssssss! Can’t you just see her giving AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and guitar legend Angus Young a bit of a peacock-like strut?
