Matt Smith, Karen Gillan To Guest DJ BBC Radio 1

The Doctor’s on the air, and he’s listening.

Heads up to all the Whovians out there: Doctor Who stars Matt Smith (The Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) will share a guest DJ slot on BBC’s Radio 1 on Christmas Eve, one day before the premiere of the Christmas special, “A Christmas Carol.”

Matt in particular is a huge music connoisseur, so I’d love to get my hands on his playlist. I’m sure it’ll include tons of hip-hop, as Matt is a huge fan of the genre.

Gavin & Stacey star James Corden – who appeared on Doctor Who this past season – will also do an hour-long slot on Radio 1 Christmas Eve.
