Lily Allen Suffers Second Miscarriage

Our thoughts and sincere sympathies go out to Lily Allen, who lost her baby over the weekend. The British pop singer, who recently revealed that she was having a boy with partner Sam Cooper, was six months into her pregnancy.

"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby," a spokesperson said in a statement. "The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time."

It was two years ago that the British entertainer endured her first miscarriage with then-boyfriend Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers.

In September, Allen joined her sister Sarah Owen in London for the launch of their vintage-inspired fashion line, Lucy In Disguise. Allen had previously mentioned to the press that she would be taking a sabbatical from music in order to pursue other creative ventures. (The BBC)
