It’s been three years since David Beckham moved his family to America and in that time he's found his footing, so to speak.

The L.A. Galaxy midfielder lives in a stylish $18.2 million mansion with his family, singer-turned-fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham and their three boys Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo. Becks and Posh are often seen hobnobbing with the likes of Tom Cruise and Jennifer Lopez from time to time. Life in sunny California is grand, it seems.

"Our boys go to school here. They're happy here," said Beckham in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. "As long as they continue to be happy here, my wife's happy here, then we plan on staying."

Would the dapper London-born celebrity ever entertain the idea of becoming a U.S. citizen?

"I hope so, one day. It would be nice," he added, though explained it wouldn't change his identity. "I'm English born and bred. And that's the way I'll always be. I'm an Englishman, you know."

Beckham's next goal is to bring a third Major League Soccer trophy back to the City of Angels. Their prior championship wins were in 2002 and 2005.
