Damon Albarn Embraces the iPad for New Gorillaz Album
In the new issue of NME, the Blur and Gorillaz mastermind chats about his love for the iPad and how the next Gorillaz album — the follow up to 2010's Plastic Beach — was entirely recorded on one while on tour.
"I've made it on an iPad — I hope I'll be making the first record on an iPad," Albarn said. "I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it, so I've made a completely different kind of record."
Albarn, who is also tinkering away on his supergroup project with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Afrobeat legend Tony Allen, hopes the new Gorillaz effort will hit stores "before Christmas". Sound fab to me!
