Watch: Two New Trailers for History Channel’s ‘Top Gear’
There’s exactly one month before the History Channel premieres its U.S. version of BBC AMERICA’s Top Gear on Sunday, November 21st. And the cable network has released two spanking-new trailers featuring hosts Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara, and Rutledge Wood. Hats off to the folks who do promos over at History: these are pretty cool.
What do you think of the new U.S. Top Gear promos?
History’s Top Gear has been in the news a lot this past week, as the show’s celebrity guest roster was revealed. Stars like Tim Allen, Modern Family‘s Ty Burrell, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, skater legend Tony Hawk, rocker Bret Michaels, Dominic Monaghan, Kid Rock, and MIchelle Rodriguez will all put the pedal to the metal on this upcoming U.S. season. And, yes, there will be an American Stig.
In Top Gear-related news from the UK, a signed Stig helmet sold for a whopping £3,400 ($5,356) at auction in England. That’s almost three times as much as its expected price. Sophia Vaizey, a former production coordinator for the BBC show, received the helmet as a leaving present and hoped it would get a good price after all of the recent Stig drama.
