Fire up, Gleeks! This holiday season is going to be a merry one as Glee readies the release of Glee: The Music – The Christmas Album, due November 16. But with that aside, Showbiz Spy is saying that Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle will make a cameo in the musical dramedy's Christmas special, set to air December 7 on FOX.

"Susan's appearance will be great fun for all fans of the series," a source revealed.

It's been long rumored that the Britain's Got Talent star might appear on the hit show. Last spring, Glee executive producer Ryan Murphy shared his wishful idea for Boyle to play a McKinley High lunch lady with Entertainment Weekly.

Boyle visited The Oprah Winfrey Show earlier this month to talk about her bullying experiences and her new album, The Gift, which arrives in the U.S. on November 9.
