New York City Remembers John Lennon

 New York City's Central Park was full of love this weekend as thousands of people came out to Strawberry Fields to honor the late John Lennon on what what would have been his 70th birthday. Countless fans also took in a free showing of the new documentary, LennonNYC, at Rumsey Playfield.

Fans of ages joined in song and donned in Beatles and Lennon t-shirts to pay tribute to one of music's most beloved songwriters who yearned for peace for everyone around the world. Here’s a snapshot of some of the celebration:
