British Comedy Invasion Hits New York

UK Whose Line Is It Anyway? star Stephen Frost and his comedian comrades Andy Smart, Steve Steen, and Richard Vranch have launched a “British Comedy Invasion,” which hits New York’s Webster Hall tonight and tomorrow night. The team last brought their madcap brand of audience-scripted improv humor to New York back in June, and surprise celebrity guests like Mike Myers and Eddie Izzard turned up on stage for a little mayhem.

The British Comedy Invasion’s latest shows are dedicated to John Lennon, who would have turned 70 last Saturday.

What do you think of improv humor? Do the Brits do it better?

His Anglophilia stems from a high school love of Morrissey, whom he calls his "gateway drug" into British culture.
