NME has an extract of a new novel about the life of missing Manic Street Preachers guitarist Richey Edwards. The band’s bassist, Nicky Wire, reveals he’s not a fan of the fictionalized account: “I’ve skimmed through it,” he tells NME. “I found it too upsetting to read the whole thing. The notion that somebody thinks they knew who he was? I mean, I thought I knew Richey, but maybe I didn’t.”
