Lily Allen’s Fashion Line Too ‘Ordinary’ for Sarah Jessica Parker

Yeah sure, Sarah Jessica Parker, you’ve had the fashion world at your beck and call for over a decade thanks in part to the glamorous and trend-setting clothes featured throughout the scintillating Sex and the City franchise. We know all about your unforgettable (and sometimes dreadful) taste in clothes and more. But as the saying goes, no one’s perfect, so leave Lily Allen alone.

According to The Daily Star, SJP recently visited Allen's vintage fashion shop in Covent Garden to peruse her latest stylings in her Lucy in Disguise line. However, Parker was less than impressed.

Apparently the fashion maven walked through the store without a word, and it was only until she stepped outside that she shared her opinion. "Sarah went round the rails, signing autographs, but she didn't say anything about the vintage clothes," said a source. "The friend she was with asked her when they got outside what she thought and Sarah just replied bluntly: 'Very ordinary.'"

Last year, Allen put her music career on hold so she could focus on other ventures, including Lucy in Disguise and possibly acting. But the expectant Mom does know a thing or two about style. In spring 2007, she debuted her first line of dresses, accessories and shoes under the Lily Loves moniker. Karl Lagerfeld also handpicked her to be the face of Coco Chanel's handbag collection for its fall/winter campaign in 2009. (Check out the fab photos via Missomni Media.)

Lucy In Disguise is not only a professional undertaking for Allen, it's a personal one. She created the line with her sister, Sarah Owen, for both wanted to provide stylish, yet affordable clothing for every woman.

Here, Lily and Sarah chat about Lucy In Disguise, which recently opened at Selfridges Wonder Room in London:
