In any case, CNN is confirming in a press release that the divisive and scandal-plagued Piers Morgan, Celebrity Apprentice winner and America’s Got Talent panelist, will replace Larry King in the 9 pm EST time slot starting in January. Morgan says, “I have watched Larry King Live for much of the last 25 years, and dreamed of one day filling the legendary suspenders of the man I consider to be the greatest TV interviewer of them all.”

Morgan’s first guest should be his Apprentice nemesis Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, right? I’d tune in for that definitely.
