Photos: New York, But A Little Brit Different

Photographer Jason Bell took some snaps of just a few of the 120,000 British people who make their homes in New York City. Some are famous (like Kate Winslet), some are just trying to get by in the world’s toughest metropolis. But they all look mahvelous in these photos, which are part of an exhibit at London’s National Portrait Gallery and will also be published in Bell’s book An Englishman in New York. Listen to Bell and some of his photo subjects chat about these stunning images in the BBC NEWS site’s audio slideshow.
