Congrats to the Emmy-Winning BBC World News America
From today’s press release: BBC World News America triumphed at the Emmy® Awards for Business and Financial Reporting today.
The program won for Return to White Horse Village in the category for Outstanding Interpretation or Analysis of a Business News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast.
In the report, the BBC’s Carrie Gracie returned to a Chinese farming village to witness first-hand how its landscape and people have been transformed by urbanization. The report followed-up last year’s Peabody award-winning White Horse Village, a poignant three-part story detailing the village’s transformation into a city.
