Who Should Play Prince Harry in a Movie?
The Spare isn’t quite the most flattering title there, is it? But Peter Kosminsky, who directed the acclaimed BBC AMERICA miniseries BRITZ, is developing the project. He explains the appeal of Prince Harry as a character: “His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over. He’s a man born to no role, the heir and the spare [In Afghanistan], he finds himself alongside ordinary guys. He’s immersed, in the most acute circumstances, in the real world and absolutely finds his metier – and for the first time in his life he doesn’t feel like a spare part.”
Fascinating. Who would you cast in the role of Prince Harry? The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye suggests Rupert Friend (a.k.a. Keira Knightley‘s hot boyfriend).
