Wuthering Heights’ Gets the ‘Gossip Girl’ Treatment

  • Gossip Girl villain Ed Westwick and Bond girl Gemma Arterton will play Heathcliff and Cathy in a new version of Wuthering Heights. Peter Webber, director of The Girl with the Pearl Earring and Hannibal Rising, will helm the adaptation, which will “focus on the story of Heathcliff and Cathy, steering away from ‘stuffy costume drama.’” (Hollywood Reporter)
  • Prince Harry‘s coming to New York. “The 24-year-old royal family member will face off against another heartthrob – Argentine polo player and model Nacho Figueras – at the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic on Governor’s Island to raise cash for the U.S. arm of Harry’s Lesotho-based charity, Sentebale. It will be the prince’s first time officially representing Britain’s royal family on an international trip, and it is his first visit to the United States since the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997.” I think he should stop into Barracuda for a pint.(AP)

  • Jordan‘s “mystery man” has been revealed. It’s her riding instructor Andrew Gould, who has posted a statement on his website: “Although there is media speculation regarding Andrew and Katie [Jordan] there has never been or ever will be any romantic involvement. Andrew is very happily married to his wife Polly who he has been in a relationship with since they were teenagers. Andrew and Polly live together in West Sussex with their two sons.”
