Radiohead’s Greatest Hits = Their Best Album Ever?
The band may not be happy about it, but Radiohead‘s greatest hits album will be released next Tuesday. Ironically, Popjustice declares it their “best album ever”: “Nobody will admit that it is their favorite Radiohead album because people are embarrassed about saying their favorite albums are Greatest Hits albums when it is SIMPLE POP FACT that Greatest Hits albums always ARE acts’ best albums.” Agree? Disagree? Appalled that it’s even being released without the band’s consent? I have gotten my hands on an advance copy of the greatest hits compilation, and Thom Yorke be damned, it really does cover all the bases. It makes me remember why I fell in love with Radiohead in the first place.
