Anglo For Your Ear: Shed Seven’s “Disco Down”
Made redundant by Oasis and The Verve, Shed Seven made absolutely no impact stateside, in spite of a slew of UK hits. Their songs managed to stand out due to some fine guitar work, and 1999′s “Disco Down” is charmingly danceable white-boy funk. The band, which split in 2003, got back together last year to much fanfare in the UK.
