Anglo For Your Ear: Sade’s “Feel No Pain”

Not my favorite Sade song, but by far, my favorite Sade video. It’s odd, though: a video about poverty and downsizing shouldn’t be this sexy. Lead singer Sade Adu, a timeless, ageless beauty, lounges around in the desert wearing nothing but a sheet. Maybe she’s poor and can’t afford clothes?

I think many people struggling in this crappy economy can relate to the song’s lyrics, sadly. From 1992′s Love Deluxe album.
