Anglo For Your Ear: Radiohead’s “Street Spirit (Fade Out)”

This somber track from 1995’s The Bends launched my passionate love affair with Radiohead, which peaked somewhere between OK Computer and Kid A and waned around Amnesiac. The vocal features Thom Yorke at his most emotive; he digs deep into his inner Bono. Great for dorm-room depression. The video’s quite amazing, too.
