Anglo For Your Ear: Massive Attack’s “Unfinished Symphony”

Jump in the wayback machine and listen to some vintage Massive: this one’s from 1991, and it was the band’s first major international hit. You get the sense that Moby has spent a large part of his career trying to re-capture the grand-scale sense of melancholy of “Unfinished Symphony,” which features a string orchestra and soul singer Shara Nelson on vocals.
