One of the most bizarre duets ever – and yet it works. Gene Pitney‘s record label reportedly refused to release the single in the U.S. because they feared it would be mistaken for a love ballad sung by two gay men. Were they kidding? A gay man wouldn’t be caught dead in the hideous white tux Pitney wears in this video. From 1989.
