Anglo For Your Ear: Leon Jean Marie’s “Bed of Nails”

Could Britain be the savior of R&B? Think of all the catchy, innovative soul that’s coming out of the UK right now: David Jordan (with his R&B jig “Sun Goes Down”), Taio Cruz, Estelle, Thecocknbullkid, and now Leon Jean Marie, whose new single, “Bed of Nails” is gaining major airplay. Produced by Mark Ronson, it sounds like White Album-era Beatles gone “urban.” He’s someone to keep an eye on.
