Anglo For Your Ear: Goldfrapp’s “Pilots (On a Star)”

Any Goldfrapp album is an event, and we’re less than two months away from the release of their latest work, Seventh Tree. Today, I’ve posted one of the duo’s earliest singles, the moody, woozy ballad “Pilots (On a Star).” It’s miles away from their poppier recent hits (like the stripper’s anthem, “Ooh La La”), but it has their trademark elegance.
