Anglo For Your Ear: Cornershop’s “Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky III”

“Brimful of Asha” was Cornershop‘s big commercial hit, but there’s more to the band than that sprightly 1997 pop hit. These Indian-British dudes can rock out, as evidenced by this 2002 thrasher, “Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky III.” The lyric “The overgrown supersh**!” is one of the great hooks in recent rock.
