We take another Scottish diversion with this rollicking tune, probably the last big hit by Aztec Camera. Here, lead singer Roddy Frame teams up with former Clash guitarist Mick Jones for the heavily political “Good Morning Britain,” released in 1990. It’s a fantastic song, but both lyrically and musically, it sounds much more like The Clash than the woozy, romantic pop that Aztec Camera perfected in the ’80s. Further proof of Frame’s versatility as a songwriter.
