Anglo For Your Ear: Donovan’s “Hurdy Gurdy Man”

Sure, we all know the words to “Sunshine Superman,” but this 1960s Scottish singer-songwriter hardly gets the credit he deserves for his influence on popular music. This folk classic hit the airwaves back in 1968, and I’ve posted a smoldering, vintage live performance. Viewed from certain camera angles, Dude was hot. From other angles, not so much.
