Yes, we do take requests here at Anglo For Your Ear. Today, Candice Villegas of Houston, Texas (H-town, can you feel me?!) writes in:

You have probably heard ofthis band and maybe this song. I LOVE it! My stepdad is now in his 50sand was a New Waver in the late ’80s/early ’90s. He then became a born-again Christian (yes, I think it is hilarious!!) and decided not tolisten to his old CDs, so he said I could have his Trash Can Sinatra‘s CD, Cake, from 1990. The song I’m emailing you is “Obscurity Knocks,” one of my favorites of all-time.

Thanks, Candice! Great song, by the way. Very Aztec Camera-esque, which is always a good thing. Send your stepdad my best wishes. Even fundies need love!
