Anglo For Your Ear: Joe Jackson‘s “Breaking Us In Two”

My co-worker sent me this old clip of William Shatner singing Pulp‘s “Common People” with Ben Folds and Joe Jackson. The great thing about this video – other than the reliably hysterical Shatner – is how crisp Mr. Jackson sounds. The body and face may have aged, but that voice is timeless. Here’s some vintage JJ, his 1983 hit, “Breaking Us In Two.”

His Anglophilia stems from a high school love of Morrissey, whom he calls his "gateway drug" into British culture.
