There’s a brouhaha brewing over the recently unveiled logo for London’s 2012 Olympics. Even though it was very expensive to design (the project is equivalent to $800,000), people don’t seem to like it very much, and, apparently, it literally causes seizures and migraine headaches by just looking at it. Well, to be more specific, viewers have lodged complaints against the logo’s promotional video, which contains a lot of bright colors and flashing lights. Below, you can watch the most controversial segment of the video. If you’re prone to nausea and/or swallowing your tongue, you may want to sit this one out:

Many people have taken to YouTube to voice their disapproval of the graffiti-like logo, calling it “rubbish.” It has even inspired a clever and scathing mash-up video with the Saved By The Bell theme song. The BBC has opened voting on some alternative logos.
