Spice Girls Tour Definitely On?

Hey, if The Smiths can’t get back together, we’ll have to make due with The Spice Girls, according to Hollywood Today. Supposedly, it’s on, and even the resistant Mel C. has agreed to join the reunion:

Apparently, Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller thinks so as he announced an upcoming six-month tour he has been trying to arrange for seven years.

“The Spice Girls will come back with a big bang. They will do a whirlwind tour for six months and then be gone again,” he said.

“Sporty Spice,” Melanie Chisholm, was the last spice girl holding out on the idea until yesterday. “All of the girls are up for it. The reunion will definitely happen,”he said.

Ah, so it’ll be a quick in and quick out. Too bad they won’t attempt a proper comeback, à la Take That. No worries. As much as it pains me to admit it, a little piece of me is more alive knowing that Girl Power will rise again.
